BENTLEY creates a souvenir masterpiece in the form of a luxurious wooden key box to celebrate its 100th anniversary

Bentley Motors’ Mulliner luxury customization division has created 100 exclusive pieces of art, a special handmade key box designed to be delivered to customers upon receipt of the Mulsanne W.O. New Edition by Mulliner. The new limited-edition Mulsanne commemorates Bentley’s founding father with a slice of crankshaft from his own car.

The key box contains a range of distinctive memorabilia, including a 1:18 miniature model from the Bentley founder Walter Owen’s 8-liter engine.

The special commemorative box also features a piece of B wing icon set alongside a set of three keys, and a printed brochure with photos published for the first time of the 1930 Bentley, famous for its 8-liter engine. This souvenir was finalized with a certificate of authenticity signed by Bentley Chairman and CEO, Adrian Hallmark, and Design Director and Mulliner Department, Stefan Schellaf.

The exclusive and exclusive edition of the Mulsanne was specifically designed to honor the founding father of the Bentley brand, and is inspired by the 1930 model known for its 8-liter engine – the last model Walter Owen designed for the company. The commemorative key box carries many design elements inspired by the exclusive style.

The handcrafted box features a unique design with unique accents such as a chrome handle, dark stained Burr Walnut wood veneer in polished black (Piano Black), and a loop opening made from the finest leather designs. By Fireglow Heritag and match the red leather used in the Mulsanne’s WO limited edition cabin.

The exterior design of the key box features the 1919-2019 inscription, indicating the centennial of Bentley’s foundation, as well as an elegantly painted silhouette of the Bentley Mulsanne. The founder’s personal signature, Walter Owen, adds a special appeal to the fund’s design and praises the company’s innovative achievements.

Bentley Motors showcases the exclusive beauty of exclusive designs with a very limited new Mulsanne.

The Mulsanne W.O. Mulliner Edition is a tribute to the founding father of the company, and each car from this edition includes an authentic piece of Bentley history. Each of these limited-edition vehicles – limited to only 100 – has a metal slice taken from the original crankshaft of the personal car owned by Walter Owen Bentley, the liter 8. The Mulsanne W.O version features can be applied. Edition in any of the three models of the Mulsanne according to the customer’s preferences.

Key features include split colors in the interior made of heritage Hide leather, reflecting the legacy of old cars, elegant Beluga black wheels, and a cool beverage or bottle cooler inside the armrest adorned with a metallic slice of Walter Owen’s personal crankshaft.

Mulliner – rare designs
Mulliner’s role is to respond to the requirements of Bentley’s outstanding customers. Bentley cars can be customized according to any customer requests and desires to personalize them.

The roots of the Mulliner date back to the 16th century, when the company focused primarily on the manufacture of luxury horse-drawn carts. In 1923, Mulliner presented for the first time the design of the body structure of the Bentley with the 3-liter Bentley 2-seater at the Olympia in London, just four years after Bentley Motors was founded.

In 1953, Mulliner created the cabin of one of the most popular Bentley models ever, the R Type Continental. This model inspired the design of the Continental GT for the present day. Then in 1957, Mulliner introduced the Continental Flying Spur, a four-door saloon specially made on the Bentley Continental chassis. Mulliner officially became part of Bentley Motors in 1959, setting up its own workshops in Crewe.
