Intro: Be a Role Model

In my little world, I have spent many a time sitting back with a cup of tea, admiring people that want to learn and smiling to myself every time I see a smile of achievement from the people that I meet. I have had a great life-sharing experience, helping others to see that limits are not set and it’s all in their minds. The sky as people like to share is not the limit.

A little about me. A veteran of Her Majesty’s British forces, volunteer Chief Rescue for F1 ABu Dhabi, Driving instructor, karter, photo journo and founder of CHRONEVO. A full car, motorcycle and truck license. Been around motoring and serving others since the age of 18.

As a performance driving instructor, I am therefore a role model for others, a responsibility of being an Influencer also. I am setting an example in the way that I drive and importantly for me my attitude in communication. I strive to maintain smooth, controlled and calm behavior in my driving. In doing so, I feel comfortable knowing I have been setting a safe and great example to others, including those little people whom one day may start driving. As an enthusiast and performance driver, the best way to help others improve is by leading by example

It all starts with your road driving for the majority. Are you courteous to others, allowing others to pull out, keeping space between you, and so on? Or are you the sort who speeds up a little to stop others from coming into the lane, or have taken on lazy ways with no use of indicators? If you look at driving as a privilege, something to be enjoyed, then you will naturally start improving your attitude on the roads. Being collaborative on the roads, benefits everyone, reducing road rage and improving traffic flows.

The first influence of driving will very likely have come from your parents. You had been conditioned to seeing your parents driving while sitting in the back of the car. Slowly programmed over the years, while on your way to school, visiting the family, going shopping, etc. Then there are your passengers. They may not realize it but your manner of driving will be assessed subconsciously.

I shall be sharing a whole lot more driving tips and techniques. Some here, some on my social and Youtube channels over the next 6 months or so.

My goals:

  1. To inspire you, to guide you to want to learn more, improve more
  2. Help you understand modern performance cars
  3. To help you see your good and bad habits on the roads and tracks
  4. Most importantly to be safe, keep others safe and be able to have fun

It would be fantastic to hear your stories and driving adventures too. Maybe as time goes on, your improvements and achievements. Happy to answer your questions, and yes I am available for personal driving/karting instruction if you are keen to get the most out of your driving/karting and or performance cars. Simply DM your interest.
