At 33 years old, Salvatore has made a mark as a car designer with a lifelong passion for cars and design. Currently showcasing his talents as an exterior designer at TATA MOTORS’ Italian studio, a prominent player in the Indian automotive industry, Salvatore’s journey includes valuable experiences at renowned companies like Alfa Romeo and Fiat, as well as in the motorcycle sector. I was taken by a design of his creation. As a life long fan of the Porsche 917, a car that played such a dominant role in racing in the late 60’s and early 70s, I was immediately taken when seeing Salvatore’s design in homage to this legend of a race car. So taken, I could not help but get in touch with him.
Although Piech’s physical presence has left this world back in August 2019, his legacy endures, interwoven with the creations of visionaries like Salvatore who intricately blend the past with the future. Salvatore’s ability to maintain the essence of classics while infusing them with cutting-edge enhancements speaks volumes about his profound connection to automotive heritage.
